Most conditions that bring patients to osteopathy involve pain, some restriction of movement and sometimes other symptoms like tingling or weakness. Below are some of the common problems patients have. If yours is not mentioned here, please contact us to arrange a telephone call with the osteopath, or email for general information.

  • Low back pain, neck pain and joint pain
  • Soft tissue injuries including muscle, ligament or tendon
  • Nerve pain (“trapped nerve“, “sciatica”)
  • Arthritic pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Headaches (some headaches may be related to muscle tension and mechanical problems, however medical attention should be sought to consider the wide range of medical problems which can also cause head pain.  The aim of an osteopathic consultation in this case is to identify risk factors and to refer for tests if appropriate as well as assessing for mechanical causes of pain.)
